Privacy policy

Visit statistics

We count visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool running on our own server. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.

For each page view it records the page address, the site you came from, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country. Your country is worked out from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored. We only look at these figures in aggregate, to see which pages are read.

Messages you send us

When you contact us on WhatsApp or by email at contact@hblabs.xyz, we receive what you send: your name, phone number or email address, and the content of your message.

We use it only to answer you and, if we work together, to run your project. We keep it while the conversation or project is active and for as long as necessary afterwards for accounting and follow-up, and we delete it on request when we are not required to keep it. WhatsApp is run by Meta and handles your messages under its own privacy policy.

Language preference

If you choose a language, the site remembers it in your browser’s local storage under the key hb-language. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. To deliver the pages and protect against abuse, Vercel processes technical request data, including IP addresses, and may keep it in logs for a short time. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so loading the site does not contact any other service.

Links to other sites

The work section links to sites we built for clients. Those sites are run by their owners, under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to its use, by writing to contact@hblabs.xyz. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date below.
